BGP-LS

BGP Link-State

BGP-LS ist eine BGP-Erweiterung, die Topologie-Informationen aus IGP-Protokollen (OSPF, IS-IS) und Segment-Routing-Daten in das BGP-Protokoll exportiert. Ein SDN-Controller oder PCE kann damit die vollständige Netztopologie abrufen, ohne selbst ein IGP zu sprechen. BGP-LS ist fundamental für zentrale Traffic-Engineering-Systeme wie Junipers Paragon Pathfinder oder Ciscos SR-PCE.
