Dual Mode Phone

Ein Dual-Mode-Phone (oft auch WLAN-DECT-Kombination oder WiFi-DECT) unterstützt zwei verschiedene Kommunikationsmodi – typisch DECT und WLAN/SIP. Damit kann dasselbe Gerät im Büro als DECT-Telefon und außerhalb als SIP-WLAN-Gerät genutzt werden. Im modernen Kontext sind Multi-Mode-Geräte, die 5G, WLAN und DECT kombinieren, für Unified-Communications-Umgebungen interessant.
